So here's the deal...
My friend is willing to sell me his American Standard Strat made in 2003 for £380 in reasonable condition. It is blonde and has a rosewood fretboard. Plays like a dream.

But I was going to buy the Classic Player 50's strat new for £430. It has a maple fretboard (Which I personally prefer). I am really not sure which one to go for here. Little help? Thanks

Hehe.

Get the American Standard. A steal at that price, and even if you get bored of it you'll still make a killing on Ebay.
