Hey all,

I'm wondering if any one knows what amps, pedals & EQ settings As I Lay Dying uses? I'm referring specifically to the their tone on the "Shadows are security" album, more specifically in the intro and outro to "Meaning in Tragedy".

From what I've gathered so far, Nick uses Peavey 6505+, Randall & Krank heads, Maxon OD808 & AD909 (delay pedal)..

Any one know the EQ settings? or what effects and amps were used during the recording of Meaning in Tragedy?

Thanks!

Sterile pickups, (EMGs work well,) moderately scooped mids, and just about any high gain amp and you have 80-90% of their tone.

Then you don't have to change it for their entire discography.

Why would you spend tens of thousands of dollars to learn about a language you already speak? It was over before it even started dude
