Hello. I'm using Audacity to edit a song I'm working on. The riff is just Tremolo picking like this:

--------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
-8"-7"-0"-10"-7"-0"-8"-7"-5"-3"-2"-3"---------
--------------------------------------------------------

The song is in D standard.

I recorded it and put the file in Audacity, then I selected "Change pitch" and i changed it from D to F. Now I'm still a beginner, so I don't know if the riff is actually in D, but that's what I selected. Anyways, I like the sound of the new riff, but I don't know what It would be on a guitar. Anyone care to help? Sorry. I know this is very confusing.

Depends on the key of the song on what interval you harmonize with.
I'm a musician/composer before I'm a guitar player.
