Thanks for crits and comments, peace.

Pretending is easy
But I'm still not okay
And these pills won't help this
And neither will cigarettes
Maybe I'm lost but I'm not an addict
So you'll still pretend

The first days, the hardest
Ignored calls, the silence
The feeling that something's wrong
Something that you won't say
And what you said would last
Is already dead and buried

People like you
Are the ones
I've learned to hate,
Turn my back to,
I guess this is all down to this.

You're not all it seems
Hiding something else
I know your new best friend
Replaced me after three days
You said that I have changed
But I know too much about you,
You've got nothing left to hide.

People like you
Are the ones
I've learned to hate,
Turn my back to,
I guess this is all down to this.

(turn my back to, turn my back to)

People like you
Are the ones
I've learned to hate,
Turn my back to,
I guess this is all down to this.

i think the lines are damn good as well as the topic but there are places where its not flowing too well like verse1 and the last line of verse3 "You've got nothing left to hide" doesnt fit that well. i liked verse2 and the chorus alot though so overall a good piece and good job! keep on writing
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I write poetry
And it sucks.
