Krylon works well, after you do several light layers of painting, LIGHT layers, and you get the color you want, then you get to clear coat high gloss. I use 2 full cans of Krylon High Gloss Clear Coat in light layers, about 15 or so at least. Then use either 6000 sandpaper or 0000 steel wool to lightly sand. After thats all done, let it cure for a couple days, then use 3M fines-it machine polish to get a really nice shine. You'lll be happy with the results, it's best to spread out the painting and high gloss over a day or to so that each layer dries well.
