I have these chords

standard tuning

e 7
B 7 7 10
G 7 7 9
D 7 6 8
A 9 7 9
E 7

the last chord is what is throwing me off b/c it contains A# and A. It just sounds good that way to me so I don't want to change it. but it really confuses me on the scale i should choose.

thanks for the help

The last chord looks like the 'Hendrix' chord to me so 9th fret 5th string would make that a Gb7#9. Not sure what style you're going for but the blues scale or minor pentatonic (as previous person said). If you want a cool sound try the Lydian scale/mode over that chord!

yes that last chord is the hendrix chord....

I hate the pentatonic scale for real, I just get caught up in it running up and down...anything that sounds a little more funky or jazzy? That is the feel I got going with this progression.

I'd learn to use it differently then. A scale won't instantly make you sound funky or jazzy.

As I said, try the Lydian mode for size!

The Major 7th would clash with the minor 7th.

I'd say try Lydian Dominant or an altered scale.
