There is a new guitar on the market.

It is designed by London artist Christiaan Nagel and built Jozsi Lak from Frankfurt, Germany.
It is now finally complete and avail. for retail.

Has anyone played this or seen it in shops, the shape is awesome

the stylistic anatomy of that guitar strikes me as a bit....eehhmm....crooked? :S

the colortones of the wood looks great but the shape looks, to me, like it has been cut by a drunk worker! xD

stylistic anatomy

hmm...

Doesn't look bad, kinda like that guitar Jack White has but curvier. I'd accept it as a gift, but probably wouldn't buy one.

I actually kinda like it. I'm a V addict myself, and generally dislike standard strat-shaped guitars, but I wouldn't mind playing this one.

I'd want a little bit more wood (heh) to the left of the tone knob..just a bit to round it out. Looks off-balance as is.

most new guitars out in the market in '10 are overrated and trash.

i personally would not want that in my hands :S

The OP reads like an advertisement.

It's not ugly, but it's not pretty either. What kenan6346 said.

Looks like an Explorer and a Strat had a very ugly child

I think there's a slight bit of Les Paul in there too, so maybe it is the result of a very dirty threesome?

If the horn with the pickup selector flowed with the body it would look much better. As it is, it's too angular and out of place with the rest of the design. I think the "F-Hole" looks cool. But with that horn... It's kinda like Terrible-Lie says, but I wouldn't call it a Nail; I'd name it an Exbortioncaster.

EDIT: I see now that it isn't even an F-Hole, it looks painted. Like that fake shit on those Ibanez solidbodies.

You’re right, it needs something down there. The real problem isn’t by the knobs, that’s just perspective messing with you, but letting the bridge abut the edge of the body is just awful; it breaks up the continuity of the outline created by the shape and the paint job. It’s not so noticeable, but mostly because that tacky fake f-hole distracts from the rest of the design.

But it is a pretty tasteful piece of work that’s infinitely better than the Dusk Tiger design and more creative than Eastwood Guitar’s direct revivals of quirky old designs. It’s like a lot of new guitar designs that use new materials to update classic ideas; a good start that needs refinement. If they bring in a professional graphic or industrial designer to tweak the flaws this has the potential to be an excellent design, but until then it will just be another forgettable niche design.
