Ok, im not really sure whether i should post this here or somewhere else but seeing as the mandolin is an acoustic intrument i figured i should post here.

So anyways, i recently aqquired a cheap little mandolin for a bit of fun and was wandering if any of you guys know any good songs that i could learn on it.

just to let you know, i have already learnt losing my religion by R.E.M on it which is a nice little number to play

so yeah if any you guys can think of any songs please tell me

thanks

Hanson are musical legends.

You watch your god damn mouth when talking about them.

Rise is pretty easy; you can use first-position chords. Short, though.

The Mandolin break from Rod Stewart's "Maggie May" was always a favorite.

Anything by Nickel Creek/Punch Brothers/Chris Thile...anything that has Chris Thile in it really. When In Rome is a good one (Nickel Creek), "Can't Complain" is good (although it's on tenor guitar, but they tune it the same way as a mandolin). Anything bluegrass works too hahha
