If you were me, which guitars out of my sig would you keep?

I'm just having the realization of "my room is 8x11 and I have 8 guitars."

I'm not going to tell you which ones I'd prefer to keep, but I'd like to keep enough to have all my bases covered.

Sell everything but the G&L, and get something like....a PRS maybe? Those will do anything you so command.

I think I'd rather kill myself. Ridiculous amounts of sentimental value. I have them because I've never sold a guitar. And I think even if I did, I wouldn't have enough for a PRS.

I had to sell a guitar too once, certainly a sadface moment. But selling that many..? I know what you mean though, out of the 7 or so guitars I have, I can only imagine selling one of them (the LP copy) because all the others have sentimental value for one reason or another. Then again, it's the only one I have with humbuckers, so I shouldn't really get rid of that one either. aaaagh

But yeah, figure out which ones you use the most (and why), and put them in a list in some sort of order. Personally, i'd at least keep one with humbuckers and one with singlecoils (unless you're someone who only likes the sound of one or the other), so you've got a fair amount of tonal variety still.

That's what I was planning on. But the cameo has soapbars.

Also, I have the squier cause I got it for 80 bucks and It's BRIGHT orange.
Actually plays pretty well too.

Maybe I'll just utilize space and strap some guitars to my ceiling.

I personaly would get a bigger room lol I have several guitars basses mandolin's some are top shelf and some are cheap but some of the cheap one sound just as good as the high dollar ones if you have to get rid of some get rid of the ones you play the least.

Whenever I saw people in this situation, with a lot of average guitars, I was always like "why don't you sell them all and get one decent guitar?". But then it came to me trying to fund a big purchase, and I was gonna sell my average guitars, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it for one reason or another, I know how you feel. But I have a fair few guitars in a small room, do just utilize space, it looks pretty badass when you've got half a dozen guitars hanging on your wall, I've got mine all in one corner, and that's my guitar corner.

not even lying, the squier I picked up for 80 bucks sounds great. It's dead sexy.

Dude I seen one of those in a pawn shop a year ago for $75, I passed it up cause I thought it was a fake, It is pretty sexy though. I wonder if they still have it, lol I guess I just found out what I'm doing tomorrow.
Me and my girlfriend were in a guitar store one day.

My GF- What's the difference between Gibson and Epiphone?

Me- (Explains)

GF- So Epiphone is like Gibson's slutty little sister?

Me- I love you.

You're just stereotyping. None of my ibanezes are shreddy. I hate those paper thin necks. It's an LP style with actives and a hollow body. The thread continues.

Also, mine was at GC in basically new condition with a recent set up. The finish is flawless. And it's a squier bullet SPECIAL which I guess is discontinued. I thought someone customized it. Either way, I'm happy.
