If you had to pick one of these low budget guitars, which one would you choose and why?

Shine SI 30 Telecaster
Adam Black Orion
Mania Telecaster (don't know what model)
Vester Telecaster (don't know what model)
Jackson Performer
Stagg Telecaster (don't know what model)

edit: OK, I heard that vester is pretty good somewhere. anyone know anything about vester? also i'd be playing stuff like rock, alternative rock, grunge.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

For the kind of music you like (based on this post and your profile lists) stay far far far away from Jackson. I don't know about those Tele copies though. Get a used Squier Classic Vibe instead.

In short, yes. It's a bit of a generalization, but really they're just not that good. Especially with that Floyd Rose trem. You probably won't be doing a whole lot of dive-bombing, which is the only reason you would need one. Changing strings with an FR is like giving birth to a camel. And they're also a pain when you want to use alternate tunings.

It totally depends on the amp you're using it with. There's really no way to generalize on this one.
