But would it be worng to run, say, a low-watt Orange dual terror through a 140w Bugera half-stack? Would that ruin the tone? Kill some of the livelyness and feedback? Im sorry I keep bothering you guys with dumb questions, I just dunno where else to turn for somewhat reliable advice on amps.

You mean to run a dual terror through the Bugera cab? as long as the impedance matches it'll be fine I suspect it will sound fuller I run my mate's Tiny Terror through my Engl cab and it sounds massive

yea the minimum requirement is set by the amp, not the other way around

Alright, I have to check if the impedance matches. Does that mean checking and seeing if the ohms on the head are less then the cab? You gotta hold my hand here, I dunno what Im doin

The ohms have to match.

ohms have to match, but the speakers wattage has to be at least the same as the amp if not more.
