The Good News

It's genuinely made ~14 people kill themselves. I'll look it up on Wikipedia, I think I'm
right.

EDIT: It is claimed to have made/ convinced "hundreds" kill themselves. However, Wikipedia says that most claims aren't backed up.

They used to be one of my favourite bands. I still really quite like them. However, both title songs from that album and One-X were shockingly bad.

Nine Inch Nails - Hurt

I would say it would be quite a challenge to find a more depressing song than that

You seemed to make a mistake there, don't worry though, I got it.

I'm surprised no one has said Radiohead's - Creep yet. Not that I am; I can't really think of a song that descibes my life. I shall think about it.

I hope you're only implying Johnny Cash's cover is better and not that Johnny Cash wrote the song.

EDIT: Actually I read his whole post ( ) I agree Johnny C's is more depressing.

I would have to say, as always, The Anthem To the Estranged by Metal Church, that song is just depressing in every sense of the word.

Also, I am so surprised none of ya'll have mentioned anything by Alice In Chains! How bout Nutshell? How about Frogs?????!!!!

That is indeed what I am implying. But one could be forgiven for believing it was a Johnny Cash original.

If you listen to The Downward Spiral (The album it's on) and understand the album you will realize the Nine Inch Nails one is more powerful. The music in the NIN one is also better, has a more haunting and depressing feel to it
