Alright, axe-men, I need your help.

My friend [theflyingapple] recently lent me his Digitech Death Metal pedal, but I can't power it. I have a couple 9V adaptors, but none seem to work. His one worked, an adaptor he got with his POD. Why is it that only certain ones work with the pedal??

probably incorrect polarity or those adaptors are dead.
Grammar and spelling omitted as an exercise for the reader.

Do they have enough current capability? Digitech pedals need a good few hundred milliamps.

For a single analog pedal I doubt that's the problem....

Anything that's 9V DC with a negative centre will work. Do not use a 'centre positive' adapter, good chance it could damage your pedal.
