What;re some good bands that use 7 or 8 strings?

Already know: Animals As Leaders, Scale The Summit, Korn, Dream Theater, All Shall Perish, Morbid Angel, PEriphery.

Soooo yeah anyone that's not onw of those bands. Lol

And does Gojira use 7 strings? Or do they just tune really low?

I can only think of Crossfade and Liquid Tension Experiment.
I shall grant you three wishes.

None of which will work.

Does the above post enrage, offend or confuse you?

Good.

Novembre is pretty awesome, though I don't know if both of them play with 6 strings, would be obvious but I don't think they did. Mastodon sometimes use 8 strings

Why must people repeat the same bands: I have already said that I had a brain lapse and forgot to put Meshuggah and Nevermore in the opening thread. Stop mentioning them. And I DID mention Dream Theater, why are people restating them? And other John Petrucci Projects(Liquid Tension Exp.)

I don't always post in the threads but when I do its random and pointless because I'm ignorant enough to think you care.

After the Burial is amazing!!!! lol

I hate Trivium with 6 strings, I doubt they're much better with 7s.

I'll check out the other bands.

Gojira don't tune all that low. D standard with the occasional Drop C covers every song I've learned by them.

No, in fact...Megadeth never tunes below E standard. It's all about 1) active pickups & 2) good quality amps.

Of course, it doesn't hurt if your name happens to be Dave Mustaine. Ya know, and everyone wants to give you your own damn line of amps.

Actually I listed Korn as a band that uses 7 strings, I didn't list them as a GOOD band although personally I think their style is pretty cool even if it consists of buying random pedals and using them along with a floyd rose lol.
