I just watched Bill and Ted's Excellent adventure last night, and it made me realize how much I love movies from that era with that kind of idea of like 2 best friends going on wacky adventures, like Wayne's World. Anyways, I need some good comedies to watch based on those guidelines.

Any suggestions?

Well, there's Bill and Ted's Adventure II. Wayne's World II. I don't really know if there's two many films that actually like that.

Jay and Silent Bob strike back. I think that's what it's called, at least.

Clerks

It may not be zany, but it fits the late-80s, early-90s comedy duo department.

EDIT: Wow, two other Smith films right as I posted.

Mallrats is a good call, though. Better fits the requirements than Clerks.

I'd second Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. It's newer, yeah, but it still pretty much is what you're looking for (I think).

I love Wayne's World.. Great movie.

The Big Lebowski is a huge yes, one of my favorite movies of all time.

But I'd also check out Clerks and if you're willing to deal with 'stupid', check out Tommy Boy.

OT: Im assuming you've seen Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey?

Other than that their's Harold and Kumar, Pick of Destiny and a large proportion of Kevin Smith's filmography.

Wierd Science or Real Genius. Their both from the 80s and have that same type of feel.

Eugh I hate those kinda movies, I find them so exhausting and un-exciting.

Anyway as mentioned, Clerks 1&2, Mallrats, Jay and Silent bob and all the shit they do.
Oh and dude wheres my car and back to the future.

It's making me fidget just thinking of Jay and Silent Bob.... get it away from me!!
