I could really do with some help finding out what the first few chords are in this song, as played by the piano:

I'm really struggling to even find the root note of any of the chords.

Some chords seem to fit in when I first play them, but then I try and play them and they don't work at all. It's really bloody frustrating.

There's a LOT of jazz happening there. I'm hearing lots of 7 chords and some other stuff going on. Unless you're into jazz chords, this song might present a problem for you.

i guess that Fmajor could be a 7th chord and you could modify the others how you please.

EDIT: Are you playing this on guitar or piano?

I believe its a Major triad, and when they do add the 7th it's of the dominant flavor.

try this.

F7 - Eb - Bb7

when you do the Bb7 hammer that 3rd on from the minor 3rd.

like ..

------6--------------------
------6--------------------
------6(h)7----------------
------6--------------------
------8--------------------
------6--------------------

sounds blues based to me.
shred is gaudy music
