Depends. I have different states of happy.

50% of the time, when I'm happy, I listen to music just to evaluate it and understand it better. So, I'll pick a complex album and listen. Just listen and absorb it. Feel it.

A lot of artists fall under that category for me, but I'll go with Jason Mraz.

Except Sleeping To Dream.
Because I often do.

At first I thought this thread was gonna be "What music do you listen to to get happy?"

In which case I was gonna say The Acacia Strain, or any other generally unnecessarily heavy stuff.

Actually, I don't listen to music much when I'm feeling happy.
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, 311, Sublime, Queens of the stone age....

lately , "Are you in?" has really been stuck in my head

My ideal woman would be a grossly overweight woman who would happy go jogging, come home all sweaty and let me put my dick under her armpit while she shuffles a pack of cards.

Stay classy, pit.

I have a playlist filled with all my ska bands, and I just put this on and kick back.
and if I get into it, I clear a spot in the middle of my room and skank.

Don't have any

Seriously, it's like I have some kind of problem, I don't like happy sounding music at all. Best I can go is introspective.

Edit: Misunderstood OP.

When I'm feeling shitty I normally listen to doom metal, or atmospheric/ambient stuff, so I guess that when I'm happy you could say I listen to faster stuff.

Dude mangoes are so good. Imagine a blowjob, but instead of the feeling being on your dick, it's on your mouth.
Classic Rock, "Indie-Pop" (Alphabeat, Franz Ferdinand), Rap/Jazz/Funky stuff (Jurrasic 5, Gil Scott-Heron), bit of electronic/ambient stuff (Radiohead, Royksopp), anything upbeat you know?

All of this.
Most of the time when I'm happy, it's because I'm listening to music.

So practically anything that I enjoy.

I just have this inner compass that guides me to what would be the perfect song for this happy, since my happy is never caused by the same thing twice. Springsteen and Django Reinhardt are frequents though.
