im not sure if thats what they're called but anyway

since getting in a band with 2 guitarists i have been writing the parts for both. now my question is: is there scales for guitar chords just likes there are scales for individual notes? if there are, can you please give me a link with them on or anything like that?

you mean a chord progression?

or just chords ascending from C to C again but in a harmonic minor or pentatonic pattern or any other scale?

its both of what i said, your just using chords to make a progression from a scale

The chords in a scale are made from the "individual notes". It's called a triad. You use the the note of the degree you're playing (the root) and its third and fifth.
