Recently watched shutter island & thought it was pretty good, can anyone else recommend some movies that **** with the mind or have good twists etc

Think psychological thriller would be the technical name for this genre.

The Machinist is like Shutter Island but better.

I liked Scott Pilgrim more, and it needs the money a whole lot more. Sure, it's not a psychological thriller, but still...

It doesn't **** with my mind. It's a pretty straight up story. Not even that compelling really. And the film score is god awful.

fixed. Scott Pilgrim was great.
Memento is another good one. Taxi Driver as well, but that's not too psychological.

Ok will go with memento, the machinist and inception. Seen most of the other suggestions already.

Well, Scott Pilgrim will be better than any psychological thriller you see.
#33
Like the guy said a few posts back, ERASERHEAD.

It will butt rape your mind and not feel the least bit bad about it.

Also, "Izo". It's a Japanese movie, so subtitles are in order.

Donnie Darko is quite the mind****.

That movie was frickin' trippy. I only just figured it out (I watched it like a month ago). Also, another good mind twister is The Game (starring Michael Douglas). It's got a really insane ending.
#35
Totally not a psychological thriller, but Rock Star. It's not what youre looking for, but I really enjoy it.
