Play it with octaves, so that it's more like

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
---7-7--9--7-7--10---9---5--7---------------------------------------

I realized I had my guitar in drop D# after.

from what i can tell the tuning is slightly irregular aswell. like say if you're tuned in standard playing pretty much what the guy above tabbed then you need to tune slightly higher. having said that it is 2am and i'm knackered so might be hearing it wrong.

Yeah, it dropped out of tune earlier, and I just tuned it to my low E quickly, and then I went to tune it, and thats what I was in.

Oh, do you mean D# Standard?

Drop D# would be: D# A# D# G# C F
D# Standard would be: D# G# C# F# A# D#

i used to think when you tuned everything down it was automatically a 'Drop' tuning
