Hey guys, the title pretty much explains everything. I tried replacing the 250k pots in my 72' thinline reissue with 500k pots and I used a .022 Micro Ferrote(?) capacitor, and my tone doesn't roll back until I hit the 3 position. Just curious if it's the capacitor that's causing this gap? Thanks.

Yes I was rude, and I was aggressive and I was offending a large group of people. But I was civlized about it.

What type of pots did you use? Audio or linear? And does the pot feel stiff/scratchy when you turn it? The cap wouldn't cause that.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
