I'm looking to possibly buy a new one, but I'm not really sure what I want yet

I'm looking to play punk/ska music, and I really like the look and feel of the gibson ES line. I currently own an epiphone sg and I'm hoping to upgrade from it. Any reccomendations? Thanks guys

Seeing as your budget is so high, why are you aiming for epiphones?
No ego-inflating quotes nor stupidly long signatures to be found here.

Move along.

Partialy this.

While at that price range Epi's are said to be good (never actualy tried one) you can get so much better. Ibanez and even an american Strat can be really nice guitars for you.

Used ES-335, 337, or 137.

If you get the ES-13 I'll rob you.

This. First thing I thought was strat. Maybe a fat strat if you want a humbucker.
