Which do you use and how do you like them? I'm getting some soon and am just trying to decide which to go with.
#2
I like the Ernie Ball locks pretty well. Though I haven't tried more than that. They work great though
#3
I use Schaller strap locks and they work great for me. I have 'em on my Dean Razorback V and on my PRS Mark Tremonti signature, and they work great on both body styles.

If you happen to have one of these bottles laying around, peel of the little red rubber ring and use that as a straplock.

It works better then any other professional straplock I've ever tried

I've got Schallers on my bass and one guitar and a Cliplock on another. Both are great but I prefer the feel of a Cliplock.

Back in my day, the teacher had to come to my tribe's village and inspect my cave-paintings in person.
For some reason, he thought the bison I painted was his mother, and gave me an F.

It wasn't my fault they look so similar.

Holy crap a lot of people use Schallers.

I personally really like Dunlops, I like all of their accessories really, except I prefer D'Addario strings over theirs.

Schallers. Stick them in a nice thick leather strap and the guitar is so comfortable, plus I can be pretty sure they're not going to fail.

I love DiMarzio cliplock straps. they work well and are comfortable. Unless you are using a neck heavy guitar like an SG or an Explorer then I would go with the Grolsch idea and a big leather strap. lol

I'd use a screw with two over sized washers, does the exact same thing just as well.

Hardly exactly the same thing. With a straplock you can still remove the strap when you want to - without a screwdriver.

I use Dunlop and Ernie ball strap locks...between the two the Ernie ball ones feel like their made better, and they work better(slide out when the button is pushed and not hang up like my Dunlops. To be honest I would recommend anything Ernie ball. I use their cleaning products, strings, and accessories.

I have dunlop straplocks on my Jackson Dk2. They're great, but when I put a Dimarzio cliplock strap on my Ibanez, it was the most comfortable strap, IMO, that I've ever used.

I like my Schaller locks. They're solid, work well, easy to install, and I never liked the look of clip locks.

apparently UG's only type O-
