If you just put new strings on it you need to work them in a little before they stay in tune.

Are the strings binding in the nut (do you hear a tink-tink sound when tuning). Are there at least a couple winds around each tuning head?

Make sure to stretch the strings. Alot of players seem to not know, or forget about that.

^^^No. Not at all, ignore him. Intonation and truss rod angle doesnt affect your tuning stability in the slightest.

Make sure the strings are wrapped tightly around the machine head, i dont mean just wrap them around, wrap em around once, pull the string as tigtly as possible and turn the machine head to wind the rest of the string around, its a slow process.

Afterwards, tune the guitar up, do big bends on the 12th fret till it slips out of tune, then tune it back again, rinse and repeat till it stays in tune. This is called stretching.

Yeah, make sure you stretch em, and see if you still have the problem. You don't want to just go in and start messing with the truss rod.
