I have the amp above and I quite can't have a nice distortion for some songs.

How can get a nice distortion out of this?

I usually use the amp section put on red and mess with the gains low mid and high's

is this how you do it?

My favorite setting on the amp is the XXX, leave it on the distortion channel, (red lights) and max out the lows mids highs and pre gain. It gets a nice deep tone and i use it for just about all my distortion.

No settings threads.

But the advice I can give you is to put it to the red Rec model , pre gain a bit lower than 3 o'clock, highs, mids and lows at noon, if you like it turn the mids back a bit, that should work.
