There have been so many Agile threads, but I'll help you out.

They are great guitars, and frankly amazing for the price. They are sold direct from the factory, so their prices are always lower, but their instruments are of great quality.

I have an Agile 8 string and it is a beautiful guitar. Pick one up if you have the inclination, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
bands/artists I've seen: Protest the Hero, LIGHTS, Andrew Bird, Flight of the Conchords, Incubus, Nine Inch Nails, Between the Buried and Me, Guthrie Govan, Cynic, The Devin Townsend Project, Scale the Summit, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Darkest Hour

They're very good guitars, I've tried a couple out before. I don't know how long they'll last though.

I'll second that.

Agiles really are the best bang for your buck out there in the standard production market.

This is especially true of their 7s and 8s, which compare very favorably to Schecters costing a $100 up and more.

yeah my biggest problem so far is that people who wrote reviews have done so 20 minutes after getting the guitar, which i dont think is too reliable, but it doesnt really seem like you can go wrong with these

I ordered a blue one once. After receiving a green one I decided I'd stick to real guitar brands.

After ordering one in Ghostburst on a Tuesday and receiving it the following Friday, I decided to keep mine.

Slightly OT, but here's a very short review of my Agile 828 Intrepid.

Time owned: 3 months.

Happy w/ purchase? Yes.

Would I buy an Agile again? Yes.

Price paid. $669

Had the guitar for three months so far. Had one minor problem w/ some frets coming off the fretboard. Rondo paid for the return shipping, fixed it and had the guitar back to me in three days.

Guitar stays in tune well and didn't have any intonation issues.

Hardware is very good. Like the tuning pegs a lot. If I'd change anything, it would be the bridge/neck pup selector. Would upgrade that to something a little solider, otherwise no real complaints.

Pups: Standard issue pups were a huge surprise. Assumed I'd have to swap them out, but turned out that I didn't have too. They sound fine. Supposedly, they're modeled after Lungdren M8s. As I've never used that particular brand myself, but I did a very detailed review of an 8 string Agile by someone who really knew what they were talking about, and they felt that the stock Agile pups were quite close to the Lungdrens.

Neck. 28.6" Very comfortable to play. No blemishes on it either. No sharp frets either.

Paintjob. Excellent. evenly applied and aesthetically pleasing.

Sound. Overall, thanks to the excellent stock pups, the guitar has a very good tone to it, and I much prefer it to the Mahogany and Basswood bodied Schecters I've owned.

If I were in the market for a new 7 or 8 string, and didn't want to pay more than $600-$700, I'd go for another Agile w/o question over a Schecter, Ibby or ESP.

Heard these are great guitars. I really want to get the ghost 6 string and mod it, if it even needs it. When you get it, tell us if it was a good buy.

I can't speak for the seven string models, but a friend of mine has a 6 string AL-2000, and for the money, it's incredible.
