I have an Epiphone Dot, but last night I noticed that when I was playing it unplugged and hitting the E, A and D strings, there was an annoying buzzing that seemed to be coming from inside the body of guitar!

It's not fret buzz because my action is set up right and that would be coming from the neck anyway....
And I've checked for loose hardware but as far as I can tell it's all tight!

Anyone know what I can do? It's really buggin me!!

That's your problem. Epiphone sucks in general.

Take it to guitar hospital.

That's what I was going to say though I would have meant it as a joke.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Epiphone as a company, most people just see them as the P.O.S. low-end guitars they happen to make. They have great models once you get past those. The Dot is a nice guitar.

You could at least be helpful?
Have you even actually played many Epiphone models?

TS, it's occassionally the pickups!
I have a Dot Studio (the cheapest model, haha!) & it's pickups used to vibrate with the frequencies on the A & D Strings.

Do the pickups have any play in them? Like, can they rock back and forth a little?

Is there any black people on UG?
I don't think a lot of black people play guitar anymore.

Sorry, not familiar with non-shitty epiphone guitars. I'm pretty sure there ARE non-shitty ones, for big $$$. Anyway, go to a guitar center/workshop and ASK if you don't want to take your guitar straight. I'm pretty sure guys over there would know what's wrong.

Cheers for the useful comment!

Yeah the neck pickup does a bit actually, how did you fix it?

I just wiggled it a little and then changed the pickup height a little.
