I know this is probably isn't the right thread but i have been playing drums for about a year and a half off and on, and i was wondering if there is some kind of metronome that could help me develop more of a rhythm, and also another stupid question... i see videos of drum covers and every single one there are wearing headphones, are headphones usually used for dampening the sound of the drums or are they used for listening to the song that you are drumming along too?

Thanks

A standard metronome should keep you in time. Metronome online is a free metronome. Checki it out

And they use it to listen to the song

a lot of times, they are protecting their ears, drumming to a click track, or in "local" gig situations - listening to the song, so they can play along.

just get a metronome, or like said, use an online one

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
