You only get to use one pedal for the rest of your life, pick either a fuzz, a distortion or an overdrive. Then name the pedal you would use.

I'd have to say fuzz, and would go with a Sola Sound Tonebender MKII

Go!

Fuzz, because most amps can do the other two already.

Don't know a lot about them, but the Ibanez F27 sounded pretty good to me.

Im going to risk sounding like a bit of a noob here...
can someone explain the difference between the three?

Since my twin doesn't have a distortion or overdrive channel, I'll have to go with my jekyll and hyde distortion/overdrive. Nothing quite like it.

Pretty much this.

I'd go for a Blackout Effectors Musket MKII.

Fuzz. I can push my preamp up to get a pretty decent overdrive. I never use my overdrives any harder than a cranked tubescreamer, which is about where the amp gets. Distortion pedals, save for the ones that are really just gnarlier overdrive pedals and the ProCo RAT, I'm not that fond of. Fuzz is like a drug though; It destroys the pure, and replaces it with a glorious wail. It's wonderful and horrible and beautiful and repulsive and so many things all at once.

God I miss collecting fuzz pedals, can't wait to pick up a Devi Ever box or two...as far as the fuzz in particular, I think I'd go with either a Ram's Head Big Muff Pi, or a Devi Ever Shoegazer, probably the latter since the prior is expensive, hard to find and a little more limited simply because the Shoegazer is two in one, one being an amped-up Big Muff clone.

Do you have one? Seems like one of the better Muff variants.

Unfortunately it is; I stopped feeding my pedal addiction a while back, right as I discovered the world of fuzz pedals, to save up for a custom guitar. That's been bought and will be done within the week though, and I have an employee discount from a temp job right now, so I'm looking to pick up two or three good fuzzes and a better wah within the month. I may not own as many as I'd like right now, but I love them deeply and plan to fix the problem soon.

Stomp Under Foot, bro.

I say OD, I love boosting too much. As for the booster, I rather like my Bad Monkey, but I wouldn't mind having a bit better breakup on it.

Last night, drilled some enclosures for 'em, ready to toss some paint on em later this week. Other than that, on a halt until after finals tomorrow.
Just doing one positive ground germanium and a negative ground silicon one for now. Might rebox an old high gain silicon one I had a while back - that thing just screamed.
