Hi guys new forum member here.

I was wondering what your ideas are on how to best eliminate some unwanted sound from my chain. For reference, i have 2 small tube combos which i suspect cause some of the noise, and i also have a standard strat with single-coils which is also another factor. Combining the strat with the amps gives quite a bit of unwanted noise, but would a noise gate solve all the problems, or maybe upgrading to noiseless pickups? Thanks.

Shield the pickup cavity in your strat, it will make a huge difference reducing almost all single coil hum. I did that myself in my 2 guitars and no hum
