Go and play it first. If you like it, buy it. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Looks like a pretty good price from here, but I'm not too sure on used Ibby prices across the pond. Try and haggle it down a bit more anyway.

I love the SR series. I have yet to find a bass that is not versatile for several genres, and the one I have is my "go to" bass. It usually retails for about 800 USD, so if its in the "mint" condition the seller claims, its a decent deal. You may want to see if you can get him to come down a bit on the price if you can.

Very nice bass. If it is truly near-mint and comes with a hard case, then it is a good price. If not - meaning it isn't quite near-mint or has no hard case - then see if the seller will knock off a few bucks.
