EDIT: G-400 also has a bound pickguard. Better hardware too, if I'm not mistaken.

i have a goth LP and i'm not at all impressed by it when comparing it to the standard model. wish i would have done the comparison before i got it...

I'm pretty sure they're both about the same price. The MSRP is different, but that doesn't count for anything. In the store, they're $300-$350, afaik.

I owned the Goth G-400 for about 2 years, and it was really awful. I would not recommend it to anyone. I don't know about the G400, but I don't see why it'd be any different, considering it's the same model, just in a normal finish.
