a quick question: how do i change the file type from my reaper files from .wav to .mp3?

You can download programs to do it and you can also do it via online services.

i use an outside program to convert files but i think you should be able to export your file as an mp3 using Reaper itself.
People in the pit take my post way too seriously.

Put the file into paint. Then press F7. Works like a charm.

Don't do that. There's loads of programs that convert music file types, TS. The trick is finding a free one. Google it.
