Hey guys.
it's been a while since I last posted one of my songs.
Well, since it is summer I felt like writing a " Have a good time " - Song.
I know it's kinda repetitive but come on - its pop-punk.
It also includes one of the first vocal lines I ever attempted to write.
Anyways - let me know what you think.

c4c if you want to.

THE LYRICS - Broken Hearts and Misery.

__________

Midnight Sunset everything's alright
when I am by your side
and we breathe every second of our life
nothing can get us by

now here we are again
standing our own ground
living for the moment
and enjoy the sound

of the echoes in the night
the waves crashing down
Hey everybody - you are not alone.

Live it up tonight
let's go crazy
Dance in the fire
and , yeah, maybe
it's the time of our lives
and we just won't waste it
to broken hearts and misery.

we're still young
our future lies ahead
it doesnt matter now
cuz we dont care
losing your mind tonight
let's raise our glass, wooohoo

to friendship from the start
and party all night long
sittin' in the night
sing' our favorite songs
Yeah these are the times
that we should take in
remember these are times we gonna miss

[2x]
Live it up tonight
let's go crazy
Dance in the fire
and , yeah, maybe
it's the time of our lives
and we just won't waste it
to broken hearts and misery.

whoa oh, whoa oh whoah ..

GOOOO!

[last chorus]
Live it up tonight
let's go crazy
Dance in the fire
and , yeah, maybe
it's the time of our lives
and we just won't waste it
to broken hearts and misery.

maybe we are too young too naive
celebrate our times and get wasted
but every moment's worth it, baby
cant you feel it ?
These are times we gonna miss
Yeehaw!

Hey man,

It sounded okay. good for the genre.

Its very typical, aka: chord progression intro, palm muted verse, then un muted chorus. but thats more of a genre thing.

I really liked the little leads you put in the verses/bridge or whatever you'd be calling it.

The solo was so good for pop punk, wasn't over the top, yet wasn't too dull. You did well with this.

I liked how you intro'd it with bass and how you used it as a little build up to the last chorus.

my only suggestion would have been, make the last chorus go for double the amount of time, and add a lead on the last 8 bars of it. just some basic ringouts or something, and it'd be a sweet outro.

It was good, for pop-punk. Like the previous comment stated the chord progression is heard more then often but i guess the vocal melody does something to to make me ignore that. It catchy and the solo fits ok. The first bar on the vocals track sounds beyond weird, i would get rid of that. What you did with the leads on bar 50-57 is great, do more of that.

Don't really have much more to say. Good job!

delete one of the drum's rests in bar 17
pretty good, guitar leads were a bit much at times, and sounded a little off key...work on getting the lead and the vocals to sound good together
i really hope that "guitar solo" is just a placeholder because it doesn't fit the song at all
