as a recent alumni, i join a list of notable people that graduated from UCSB. apart from the five Nobel laureates, we have a decent list

Micheal Douglas- famous American actor
Jack Johnson- musician (i partied at his former house )
Jim Rome- ESPN comentator for Jim is Burnin
Gwyneth Paltrow- famous actress (though she never actually graduated)
Brian SHaw- former LA Laker and current assistant coach
Steve Aoki- DJ for songs like I'm in the House and Pursuit of Happiness

Nobody of note, I don't think. At least, I haven't heard of any on the Wikipedia page.

The guy who's credited with inventing the World Wide Web is a lecturer though, which is great since I'm going there for Computer Science.

Black Thought and Malik B of The Roots both went to my university. Other than that, nobody extremely notable. Mostly just Pennsylvania politicians, and a few athletes that made the pros but had little notoriety.
