OK so ive selected a few different amp heads and combos that im interested in so far.

I play mainly metal (Lamb of God, Machine Head, Killswitch, Gojira)
alternative ( Alexisonfire, Saosin, Deaf Havana)
and a fair bit of clean stuff when im learning songs

Amps ive selected so far is:

Bugera 6262 (head or combo)
Bugera Magician combo
Peavey 6505+/ 5150 mk2 heads ( if i can get a good deal)
Mesa MK4 ( if i can get an amazing deal on it)
Brunetti Pirata Impact
Trace Elliot Speed Twin H100

They will all be going through my new 2x12 cab, got V30's

Budget is no more than £600 really
Cheaper the better tho

Cheers guys

I'd go for the Mark IV if you can manage to find a decent deal on one. It'll cover all of the material you're playing and do it all very well, rather than just ok in each department.

If i can get a mark 4 then im gonna jump on it.

The Hi-watt doesnt really interest me tbh.

Im looking at seperate EQs for each channel too, prefer 3 channels but 2 is great.

Bugera 6262

On a MKIV budget im assuming you have around a grand US to drop.

The Brunetti is a brilliant amp, play it first though cause it may not have the voicing you're after.
A secondhand ENGL Fireball 100 would be a good option.
If you dont need a clean channel try a Soldano Avenger out.
You may be able to find a Framus Dragon in that pricerange, maybe.

Thats it off the top of my head.
Anyone else?
Guitars:
Gibson Les Paul Standard
Gibson Explorer New Century
Gibson RD Artist
Fender American Standard Telecaster

Amps:

Framus Cobra
Marshall JCM800 2203 - 1960A

Pedals:

Crybaby 535Q
Rockbox Boiling Point Overdrive

Thats the other one i couldnt think of, the Framus Dragon.
I do need a clean channel, so the Soldano is out.

The Brunetti i cant try because its the other side of the country =/

Time to read some more reviews i think.

The Fireball and Dragon are worth a try. I'd like to add a Framus Cobra to the list. Both the Cobra and Dragon go for around 1000€ on German/Austrian ebay on a regular basis. What is that, 700 quid? They sometimes go for less.

There's two Dragons there right now:

Ask the first guy if he'd ship it to England though if you're interested.

An Engl Savage might also be worth considering, but I don't know what they go for used.

The Brunetti is a really nice amp, I've never played one only heard it and it has lots of gain, nice ballsy tone with great clarity.
