Anyone know how I can transfer play counts from my iPod to my new laptop?

#1
Hey all, I just got a new laptop. My computer buggered up and had to be reset, so it no longer has any of the play count information on it, but my iPod does.

Is there any way I can transfer that information into iTunes on my new laptop?

If not, is there any way I can view the play counts on the iPod so that I can manually put them into the iTunes on the laptop?

Thanks.

Plug your iPod in, go to Music, and check the play count next to each song. Simple.

But if I plug in the iPod won't it auto-sync with whatever is in the library, which is currently the same as what's on the iPod but with all the play count's at 0.

Why on Earth would this issue concern you?

I guess I'm a bit OCD about play counts :p

I feel your pain, man. I had a Creative player for a couple of years, and all the play counts didn't transfer. Now it's dead, and my statistics seem wrong.
