whats a good combo/ half stack that has a great tone for death metal? under $450? and is powerful enough for band practice and gigs. im thinking about the acoustic b200 but idk.

Tone also depends on your bass and how you eq everything. Pedals also help when trying to find a tone you like.

yeah the b200 will be fine but what bass you play,how you play it,the pedals and eq you use will all factor in. i play a b200 and i get a pretty nice metal tone out of it, right now its set up to play like steve harris which is pretty boss
