i was installing a dunlop strap lock and i forgot to predrill the screw hole for the thicker dunlop one and now i have a screw stuck, wasted (i cant use the star screwdriver anymore) and the straplock on so grabbing with a vice grip seems impossible...anyone got any ideas for me?
you'll probably have to rip it out, and then fill the hole again.

If you're using the strap locks I think you are, then you did the same thing I did. I figured it out though: Just because they come with screws doesn't mean you have to use them. I used the screws that were originally in the guitar, and it works perfectly.

Obviously if a screw doesn't fit, you shouldn't force it in - that's just asking for trouble. Hopefully you don't crack your finish...
Spin 'round carousel when your horse isn't screwed in.
