I'm planning on going for a Line 6 GX/UX1/UX2.

Right now..
I'm using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cord to connect my vypyr directly to my computer to record.
Software being used right now.. Reaper.

Problem is.
I've heard about this Latency thing..
Where you play a note, and that note comes a second later on your computer speakers.

So you need the lowest latency possible.
Will I experience the same problem with one of those advices above?

Advices or devices?

My UX2 has zero latency. They have something called direct tone monitoring or some jazz like that.

Nothing to worry about.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

They are USB audio interfaces.

Methinks your computer has USB.

You can download an ASIO driver to minimize latency.

Do some research into it.

Could I get the name of it?

TS, what's your computers RAM and Processor?
My recording computer gets crazy latency when trying to monitor through it. It only happens when using any VST amps though. It's only got 520Mb of RAM and it's from 2004.

You're talking about the ASIO thing?
It's dumb if you have to pay. Not really worth it. Unless it's 10 bucks.

EDIT: Just saw above post.

I use a Line6 GX and it comes with drivers like the guys said above. It minimizes latency to virtually be nonexistent to the human ear, but really you will always have some type of latency when dealing with electronic and digital devices.
