Hey guys, recently I bought an epiphone firebird for a bargain price of £279. that was at the start of August, but when it came time to restring it I noticed that the low E string that came with it was too short!!! The string stops just short of the string lock Can anyone give me some advice on this madness???

Well, it came with an extra full set of gibson strings, the low e just was like 1cm too short !

There's nothing you can do other than get new strings.

well now you know why they were so quick to give you a free set of strings... EDIT: does it have a reverse headstock?
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
