i dot know where else to post this, and it concerns the electric guitar so i guess its all good
so that funky sounding thing in Icky Thump (The White Stripes) is it a guitar with a shitload of effects or is it something else? its really bothering me

That's an electric organ of some sort IIRC, if you mean the solos. Rock Band charted it to guitar, but that's a keyboard. =P

He plays it on a Moog live, I watched the Canadian DVD the other day and he played it on a Moog. There was also an Organ on stage, but I'm almost positive the Icky Thump stuff was on Moog.

I believe it's some ancient synthesizer from the '70s on the studio version. I think a Univox?

As others have stated, on stage it is a Moog.
