The tubes in my Carvin x100b are dying, recommend me some tubes.

Anything is better than the GTs in my amp, but I am considering JJ tubes.

My amp uses 4 el34 power tubes, and 3 12ax7 pre-amp tubes.

Budget: Try to keep it all under $100usd, the jj tubes for a quad set of el34s and 3 12ax7s came to about 80-90, so it seems to be the best option.

Lastly, if i remember correct, I can change out the pre-amp tubes by myself, but the power tubes should be done by a pro?

It's the other way around. Just make sure when you're putting in your power tubes to wrap it in a towel so the oils from your hand don't get on the glass and makes the tube burn unevenly. Yea, I know, it sounds retarded.

What kind of music do you play? JJ's are fairly dark sounding t00bs.

Metal, prog metal, avant garde metal, doom metal, black metal, nintendocore, beardcore, brocore, lobstercore, ambient...Etc...

I like me some dark sound t00bz basically.
