Has anyone tried to build a mini amp into the body of a guitar. If you have or know someone who has could you post some pictures. I may give it a go with my Marshall Micro amp.

i tried that with a headphone amp i had and a shitty first act i found
i just plugged headphones into it and its good for quiet practice also makes for a decent preamp

yeh i was thinking of just building the speaker in near the butt of the guitar. ill post a sketch of the idea tomorrow.

Put the guts of a 9volt Marshall into a backpacker. Major feedback. Can't mount the speaker in the sound hole-haha.

i dont think putting the speaker in the guitar would be a good idea youd probably be making alot of feedback

there was a guitar like that, I can't remember who made it, I think pignose. the speaker was where the soundhole is in an acoustic but it sounded really tinny. the pickups might have been piezzo to avoid interference from the speaker's magnet. like I said, I don't remember exactly, might look into in more later...
