Can anyone hook me up with some tab for some really good bass runs/songs/licks that are good to hone/warm up bass skills for a slightly above intermediate bass player.

Thanks!

Playing Maiden is good for honing galloping,
Or anything pretty much from Cliff Burton

Try playing spider scales to warm up. Great way to get the blood flowing and your fingers stretched before a gig.

I do spiderwalks, scales (normal major, blues scales, thirds, sixths, up the 9th, chords), and the 4 finger warm up.

Do that everytime before you play for about 15-30 minutes and your fingers will have more dexterity and strength and all that jazz.

what exactly is spiderwalk? I've heard it before and I may know it, I just may have not heard it called that.

BTW thanks a lot! =)

and repeat. 1 is with your index, 2 is with your middle finger and so on. You can also do it on the 5th fret to the 8th fret etc. Its a good way to stretch yourself out
