can somebody check out what this guy is doing
and then make a video
but point the camera at your guitar
like either a straight-on 90-degree angle, or like
at an angle from the headstock, pointing towards your picking hand

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRW6U2VRb28

i can get all of the "techniques" and the chops down (like the hammers and the POs and the palm-mutations, and the string-squealers...), but i just dont understand the "tone" and the "sweetness"
could someone just make a fret-board vid of what's going on here

ya dig?

thanks in advance

oh... and if you aren't too much of a sissy, then check out this video:

ok,
i might be able to figure out some notes
if you tell me how he's tuned his guitar
is it E-Standard
or Eb-Standard (like Hendrix)
or drop-D ( /rollseyes )
or D-Standard (like the first 2 Malevolent Creation albums:

oh, and if you can do the fret-board vid for this one too, that would be awesome

You want his tone and sweetness? Then ask for his pedals. Obviously it's his pedals that are giving him that tone. The whole point of the video is showing off the pedals. He's either in E or Eb Standard.

As for the Bad Brains song, look up what equipment they used.
