I've been looking for the customer support email for them or for the Lord of the Rings Online guys. My brother downloaded LOTRO and signed up and was supposed to get the activation code in an email and never got it.

Maybe the Pit will have better luck than me in finding the email address

Why the hell would you want to play LOTRO?

I have nothing to add, sorry.
The UG Awards exist only to instill me with existential doubt.

For me, the 60's ended that day in 1978...

Willies. Fuck the lick and fuck you too.

It's free now? !

I've played DDO, that was pretty neat. Maybe I'll pick this up, too.

Maybe you should look in the back of game manual and see if there's an 800 number to call.

Edit: How long has it been since your brother signed up? It may be that it'll take like a week for them to send the email.

It's free because they no longer care, as such they don't want you calling them about it.

I was just talking to him and from what he said I ed

He's been waiting 3 days. But apparently when he signed up for DDO, the email was instant.

And it was a digital download, so there is no manual or box with the code

You need no activation code if you downloaded it.

When he tries to sign in, says he needs to activate his account. This is where you do it:

Needs a code

Well, LOTRO clearly has more people than DDO, hence why the email aren't instant.

Because nothing can change in 2 years.

He probably needs to activate it from the email they sent when he made the account. Tell him to read the email better.

I've looked at the email too. It's not about his account for LOTRO, it's just telling him it's now f2p.

You should probably just call Turbine, it will be faster than trying to sift through the internet.

Good idea. I'll have him call then. He might not do it though because he "hates" talking on the phone

EDIT: As I thought would happen, he won't call them, but I found the account management support page, and he sent in a ticket.
