I have an RG420EG in the bio armour finish http://ibanez.wikia.com/wiki/RG420EG and as much as I love the guitar I hate the trem (Edge III). So anyways I'm trying to get rid of it. I was going to type a whole paragraph but **** it I'll get to the point.

Should I trade it for this 70s El Degas SG copy? http://kitchener.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-musical-instruments-guitars-Ibanez-Degas-Lawsuit-70s-SG-325-00-W0QQAdIdZ203629886

Well I googled around a bit and El Dagas come from the same factory as 70s Ibanez, Greco and Yamaha guitars and were essentialy just rebranded for the 70s Canadian market

Play it and if you feel its worth it then hell yeah.

however its as far from your RG in every aspect so are you sure you want that great a change?

Yes they are pretty much opposites but there are many things about my RG I don't like such as the tone and the trem, however I do like the action and the neck. I will definitely try out the SG and see if I like it before trading.
