k. guitarist on a tight budget, ive been looking at a dean ML X and an ESP LTD V-50. yes i kno they arent gonna be the best guitars ever but im stuck on my ass with a squier bullet so theyre both gonna be a huge step up. i play metal. rock. blues. everything but country pretty much,, so yeah. im planning on putting alot of money into 'em which ever i get. like over the next couple years putting some EMGs on it and eventually a floyd rose, you know new tuners, and what not. yah well tell me what you think

What amp do you have?

don't look into changing your pickups unless you have at least a 30W tube amp.

as for those guitars, i don't like either of the brands
but if i were to choose.
i'd take the LTD.

id rather get an ibanez if you play metal, rock, blues though..

Get the amp first.

Of those two, the LTD. I'm not a fan of that shape, and lower end Deans are hit or miss.

I'd also rethink the EMGs for all those styles- some people like them, some hate them, but they sound really off outside of high-gain settings.
