I am considering purchasing a blackstar ht5 but I am concerned it will not be loud enough for gigs. We will be miced almost all the time and i'll have it going through a 4x12. Help?

Micced up you will be fine. Without being micced up I think you may have a problem. Small venues of 70-100 should be fine as long as you keep your drummer in check if you are not micced up.

It all depends on the gig. Saw a guy a few days ago using one in an Irish Trad session in a pub with 5 acordians, a fiddle and a Bodhran/spoons player.
I pick up my guitar and play
